How it works
Three steps.Whatever is easiest.
Owners, breeders and designers contribute in the way that suits them. Phone, laptop or bulk spreadsheet. The data platform, with AI help, does the rest.
Step 01 · Any contributor
Upload, however it suits you
Breeders, owners and designers all work on the same auction. Upload from a phone, a laptop or a spreadsheet. Every photo is kept at its original size.
- Take photos on your phone. The crop is handled for you, including the horn-safe space at the top so horn tips never get clipped.
- A photo of a printed measurement card or breeder tag is read by the platform automatically. The digits, lot reference and any other printed text on the card go straight into the lot record.
- When a photo does not have enough sky, grass or veld for a clean print bleed, our AI extends the background only. Never the animal. Every extension is logged so you can swap it for a re-shot before printing.
- Drag and drop logos, graphics and scanned documents straight from your laptop.
- Do a bulk upload with a ready-made Excel or spreadsheet template. The platform checks the numbers live.
- Or type lot details straight into the form. Fractions are handled properly and you see a live preview.
Step 02 · The data platform
We tidy the data and keep the archive
Our wildlife AI engine handles the parts of the job that normally eat into the season. Smart cropping keeps horn tips, hooves and ears safely inside the frame and clear of the ring-punch zone. Quiet-quadrant logo placement drops your saved breeder logo on the calmest part of every photo, never near the animal. Rough notes get tidied into clean lot descriptions, horn measurements get formatted into proper fractions and genetic lineage is parsed straight from your notes into bloodline trees. Every file is kept at its original resolution.
- Same data in, same catalogue out. Every time. The platform does not introduce surprise variation between runs, so the catalogue you sign off is the catalogue that prints.
- A live checklist shows any missing DNA, missing photos or measurement problems for each lot.
- Each person only sees what they should. Breeders see only their own lots.
- A high-resolution photo library with instant search for designers and owners.
- A saved history of every catalogue, ready to show under POPIA if needed.
Wildlife AI engine
Our wildlife AI engine
Type your notes quickly. You do not need to worry about spelling, grammar or structure. The wildlife AI engine reads your notes, fixes the mistakes and rewrites them into clean, well-written lot descriptions. Ready for the catalogue, ready for the auction floor.
Step 03 · Owner or designer
Export every way you need, same price
Every auction can run as a designed catalogue, as data only or as both. Switch at any time, same price. The platform always holds the clean lot data. Every designed catalogue comes with two PDFs at no extra cost: A print-ready file for the commercial printer and a plain-proof file for reading on screen or printing in the office. Photos bleed full-page, content respects a 25mm top safe zone for ring punches and page counts auto-round to multiples of four with lined Notes filler. Print PDFs ship at 300 DPI CMYK with 3mm bleed, crop marks and registration marks, ready for the commercial printer.
- Designer tier subscriptions add a packaged InDesign file alongside the two PDFs.
- Inset images per lot, multi-hero spreads, multiple catalogue templates and full design override are all in scope. Designers and Admins can break out of any template when they need to.
- Family tree brag pages render through our AI-powered Family Tree Design Engine, on Designer Pro.
- Data only gives you a clean Excel file with every lot and a folder of the original, full-size photos.
- Both gives you the designed catalogue together with the Excel file and photo folder.
- Every export includes bloodline trees, breeder directories, indexes and print crop marks where needed.
